good stuff... pleased that we finally are more or less out of the woods.. i am pretty confident that it handles UC files properly by dancing around them

i disabled also the copy to outfits and upload of any UC item

duplicate still works and sorting has always worked

the sortin' is the big selling point

the next version will include some gridview changes

the idea is to have the gridview only do a few columns

and fill the rest with an screenshot

operation is simple...

go into avatar closet.. press = to screenshot yourself

then in the corresponding outfit press a button... this will look in the Utherverse image folder.. and move the image out to a new folder.. rename it to the outfit and use that as local display

seems like a simple operation.. can be very easy upgraded too

if a person puts on some extra outfit items

press =.. press the image button . done

how long do you think it'll be until next revision?

i'll be sure to test from here. you have any install packages for data access components? Jet 2.8 install (mdac_typ.exe) doesn't work on XP...

i think it was made for wink2k. i think i have it on my external, but there are screws bouncing around in the case from travel..

i almost think the best way would be to install SP3 again

that said... on the same hardware windows 7 is faster then xp

so, fresh install of SP3 has jet 2.8 installed by default?

....wasn't sure if that was the case for write access, but read access only

what prospect you have on downloading or burniing a Windows 7 version

interesting. i thought sp2/sp3 jet was to read from jet only, and that installing redist gave write access
